Actor Garrick Parks was born in 1974 in Plant City Florida. Parents are Deborah Parks from Plant City Florida and Roy Parks (Deceased in 1985) from Delaware Ohio. He moved from Florida when he was 10 to Bryson City NC where he went to Middle School and High School. He participated in Wrestling where he competed in the State Wrestling Tournament 3yrs in a row. He also ran Cross Country and was part of the Cross Country team that placed 2nd in the State his Senior Year. He fell in love with the Arts when he enrolled in Drama in High School. He was in several stage plays in Drama as well as in the local community theater in Bryson City before Enrolling in College at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He left college in his freshman year to help raise his daughter Arricka Parks. After working in construction for several years he enrolled in the North East GA Law Enforcement Training Center where he became a Certified Peace Officer. He worked for several different Law Enforcement Agencies in North Georgia as a Narcotics Officer and SWAT Team Leader. He was blessed with a second daughter Haley Parks in 2002. He went over seas for 18 months where he worked as a civilian contractor in Kosovo, Qatar, and Afghanistan.
