LaVon Wageman was born in San Diego, California. She attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with a BFA in Drama. Her other studies include improv with the Upright Citizen Brigade, Atlantic Acting Studio and an internship at the La Jolla Playhouse. She is a professionally trained voice-over actor, singer and dancer; dance ranges from ballet, modern, hip hop and jazz. Her recent credits include MTV's Mary + Jane, College Humor online content, Lilly Singh sketches, and CNN's Declassified. National commercials include Touchstone Energy and McAfee Safe Family. LaVon's short film credits comprise of Touché, which she wrote, starred in and produced, We Can't Die, Poppies in Full Bloom, and Through the Glass.
