Bill Whirity, born Francis Angus LeRoux, grew up deep in the bayous of Louisiana. Son of a gator wrestler (mother) and shrimp boat captain (father). Orphaned at the age of 12 and a half, he left town on his family's houseboat and headed down past the Florida keys, making his way up the East Coast to New York City. But he never arrived at his destination. His nautical home get caught in Tropical Storm Greg and was tossed into the rocky North Carolina shore. He washed up on the beach, stricken with amnesia With only a crumpled up twenty to his name (a name which he couldn't even recall) he wandered through the town of Manteo on Roanoke Island. He hitchhiked his way inland and took odd jobs as he traveled across the country, adopting the name Bill Whirity after no-one in particular. following a series of wise investments, he turned his meager crumpled double sawbuck into an empire. By his eighteenth birthday he was the youngest CEO of an oriental rug import company since Antonio Pacetti, the carpet king of New Brunswick. then he disappeared. No one heard from him for six years. The company defaulted to the board and due to its mismanagement, it folded... like a cheap Bokharian knock-off. He eventually resurfaced from his sabbatical, energized with a new purpose. He settled in Los Angeles where he began pursuing a career directing and writing films.
