Delphine Pontvieux was born and raised in France. An avid traveler, she studied and lived in Australia, the USA, Spain and the Netherlands until she moved to Chicago, Illinois, in 1998, where she lives today. It is in the city of big shoulders that she caught the acting bug. A talent agent hailed her at an outdoors event and urged her to audition for a movie. She ended up being cast in the movie LOL-Laughing Out Loud (Lionsgate - Dir. Lisa Azuelos) starring Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus, in which she plays the role of a quirky, French, aristocratic, Joan of Arc fanatic who hosts Cyrus's character during her end-of-school year trip to Paris. Delphine commenced acting and voice over classes in order to develop and strengthen her acting skills. She has appeared in the horror movie "Sinister 2" (Focus - Dir. Ciaran Foy) in which she plays the role of a mother being murdered, along with the rest of her family, by her own child. She's had a recurrent, featured non-speaking role for the past three seasons in the TV series "Empire." A genuine renaissance woman, she is a scuba instructor, cave and technical diver and an ocean conservation advocate. She is the published author of a thriller titled "ETA-Estimated Time of Arrest," which won two literary awards, along with various short stories and magazine articles. She is the founder and designer of NYET Jewelry, a company she founded in 2012 which produces leather jewelry and accessories for discerning women and men. - IMDb Mini Biography By: D. Pontvieux
