Shannon Hottes is an Australian actress born in Gosford, New South Wales, and raised on the Central Coast by her separated parents spending most of her time with her mother Kym Campbell who worked various jobs to keep the house going. Her Father Wayne Hottes worked as a tire delivery truck driver most of his life. Shannon attended Gorokan high school, though she didn't graduate leaving in the second semester of year 10 due to bullying, at 16 she enrolled at Coastal college to do a diploma in beauty therapy which she completed 18 months later.
