Benjamin Welch was born in Rochester, New York. It was there as a teen that he first connected to Acting through stage. His college years found him migrating to Las Vegas. Benjamin's chapter in Sin city allowed him to continue acting in Theatre as he found himself a part of the transformative and critically acclaimed prison piece, "SOIL". Benjamin continued the honing of his craft by trekking periodically to New York City in order to study at Susan Batson's rigorous studio. A move to Atlanta and subsequent transition to Los Angeles brought roles in the Indie projects, "Torn" and "Good Girls" as well as continued roles in Theatre. As part of the Fringe theatre festival, Benjamin had a cathartic experience as the devilish Rob in the play, "Voices". A scholarship win at BGB's Acting studio under the tutelage of Risa Bramon Garcia and Steve Braun helped him grow deeper as an artist. Recently portraying Griffin in Indiewire's project of the year "TwentyFiveIsh" allowed Benjamin to enjoy the awesome character driven experience that he had been yearning for.
