Jaclyn Hales was born in Syracuse, New York. Her first acting gig came quickly after her family moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire at the age of 6. She was cast as the "Shrunken Alice" in Alice in Wonderland at a small hometown theater. As a teenager her family moved to Utah and It was there that she switched gears from stage to film. Her first TV appearance was on the WB series 'Everwood', playing Katherine Adams. Jaclyn studied acting at Utah Valley University and graduated with a BS in Theater Performance and a couple of prestigious awards from the department including: "Best Actress of the Year 2009" and "Best Student Director 2009". Her resume was filling up with award winning short films, and local commercials, but her first real break was landing the leading lady in Unicorn City (2010). Her participation in this feature film allowed her to join the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) as well as win a "Best Actress" award at the LA Comedy Festival 2011. This helped launch her career towards more feature films including Christmas Eve (2015) opposite Patrick Stewart. Jaclyn lives in Los Angeles now and continues to build her career with TV/movie roles including Steven Soderbergh and HBO's 'Mosaic', recurring roles on FX's 'Legion' and 'Mayans', and the lead antagonist of LIFETIME's The Sinister Surrogate. Jaclyn has played two Series Regular roles. Lynn on 'Extinct' which aired on BYUtv, 2017 and was canceled after the first season.
