Benjamin Riley was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was raised in Boston and New Jersey, before finally settling down with his family in Chicago. After deciding to pursue acting professionally in 2006 he was cast in 3 short films almost immediately. Four months into his career he was cast in Zack Parker Quench (2007). He Co-Starred in the dark drama opposite Bo Barrett and Mia Moretti. Quench (2007) was accepted into the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival and premiered on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, CA in October 2007. Quench (2007) went on to win the coveted Best Director for a Feature Film award. Benjamin went on to do over 20 independent films ranging from shorts to features in a little over a year in the Midwest area with actors including Scott Ganyo, Steve 'Papaw' Pyatte, D. Shane Christopher and Jim Dougherty in some of the films. After leaving college at Indiana University one semester shy of graduating and turning down a full ride scholarship to law school he moved to Los Angeles where he was cast in the starring role of a TV pilot 5 weeks after arriving. Currently he is attending the Howard Fine Acting Studio in Hollywood while being coached by legendary acting coach Howard Fine himself.
