An American stage, film, and television actor born on August 11, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri to parents Pamela S. Davis and A. Joe Davis. He discovered acting at an early age when he was involved with the Plaza Prime Time Players, a children's improv and sketch troupe in Kansas City. The group would do shows at local elementary schools and public libraries. He continued doing theatre until he made the move to Los Angeles in the mid 1980's. He studied with The Groundlings, Allan Rich, and J.D. Lewis of The Actor's Lab. After working for many years in all facets of the business, including theatre, commercials, and voice-over work, he relocated to Austin, Texas. He quickly earned the reputation as the go-to indie actor after being cast in films like Red White & Blue (2010), Blacktino (2011), Angel Dog (2011) and The Adventures of Pepper and Paula (2015). Other notable film credits include W. (2008) directed by Oliver Stone, Men, Women & Children (2014) directed by Jason Reitman, and Green Book (2018) directed by Peter Farrelly.
