Giovanni, Claudio Caretta, better known as Gianclaudio Caretta (Taranto, September 25, 1993), is an Italian actor. Born and raised in Puglia, land that he loves, he is infact very much tied to his family and his native city Taranto. He graduated from high school and simultaneously played tennis at a competitive level. After the high school, he worked as a driver for a road rescue wrecker. Fascinated by the world of cinema, he participates in some open casting and begins with a special figuration in a short film in his hometown. He immediately became passionate about acting. With courage and ambition, he moved to Rome to undertake the attorial formation at the School of Dramatic Art "Artedattore" of Natalia Florenskaia. Later he took part in the short film "STELLA MARIS" by Giacomo Abruzzese. He then began to take his first steps towards international horizons. He studied in Italy and America with Oscar-winning director/screenwriter Paul Haggis, with Bernard Hiller and acting coach Ivana Chubbuck. In Orlando, Florida he plays a small role in English in the TV series "GAME ON" for Disney Channel. On October 12, 2015, at the "VII INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL COMMITMENT AWARD" he received the "Star of Merit" as "Young Starring Actor in an International Movie" for "Diabolika". On September 18, 2016, in Tropea receives the "RAF VALLONE NATIONAL CINEMATOGRAPHY AWARD" as "Actor Revelation of the Year". On October 17, 2016, at the "VIII CULTURE AND SOLIDARITY AWARD" receives the special mention: "Brilliant and young actor of the Italian and American Film Industry". In July 2017 in the film "SCARLETT" plays a plainclothes policeman involved in an absurd affair.
